JOSEPH CRAIG

PRODUCER

 

Joseph Craig (aka J.E. Craig) has more than 20 years of experience in entertainment marketing and market research.  He was a founder of ERM – which specializes in market research and marketing consulting for film, Broadway and off-Broadway theatrical productions and other live entertainment and leisure-time attractions.  The 5-year-old company has main offices in Los Angeles and New York City.  ERM has worked with a wide range of companies including The Walt Disney Company, Focus Features, Warner Brothers, The Weinstein Company, Relativity Media, Serino Coyne, Open Road Films, etc. 

 

Expanding into producing, Joseph was part of the Tony winning team behind 2010 Best Musical Winner MEMPHIS and the recent hit musical FIRST DATE.  He has 3 upcoming new Broadway musicals and plays.  Recently he teamed up with the Academy Award winning producer Donna Gigliotti (Shakespeare in Love) to produce the big screen version of the best-selling novel Big Stone Gap that is currently being readied fir theatrical release and stars Ashley Judd, Patrick Wilson, Whoopi Goldberg, John Benjamin Hickey, Jenna Elfman, Anthony LaPaglia, Judith Ivey and Jane Krakowski.  As an in-demand speaker, Joseph has talked on a wide variety of subjects and has been a keynote speaker at Columbia University, TEDx Broadway, The Broadway Conference and the annual BAA conference.

 

SUMMER CROCKETT MOORE

Summer Crockett Moore Summer is an award-winning actress/producer and a Managing Partner and founding member of Choice Films & Choice Theatricals which has produced various theatre and film projects, including the recent Off-Broadway world premieres of Reading Under the Influence, Stain and In The Daylight, as well as the world premiere of the new play, American Stare.  She was a lead producer on the award-winning short film A Younger Man which won many awards on the festival circuit, and is also a lead producer on the multi-award-winning feature film Junction, which won 17 major festival awards before launching into a multi-city theatrical release and which hit wide release in April 2014. Junction was also nominated for a 2014 PRISM Award alongside August: Osage County, Lee Daniels’ The Butler and The Spectacular Now. (www.junctionthemovie.com).

 

Summer served as Line Producer on the film Trust Me I'm a Lifeguard which had a 2014 world premiere at TriBeCa Film Festival and is serving as a lead producer, on the upcoming feature film Do I Do, as a co-production with STEM Entertainment, Principal Photography beginning October 2014. Summer can be seen and heard in various national and international television and radio commercial spots (over 650 in her commercial career) as well as in recurring roles in television shows and in feature films.  She also voices multiple characters in several cartoon series.  Summer won the 2012 Best Supporting Actress Award at The Long Island International Film Expo, and then again at 2013 IndieFest Los Angeles, for her work in Junction as well as the 2006 New York Innovative Theater Award for Best Actress in a Featured Role for her work in the 25-year revival of Last Summer at Bluefish Cove. She was nominated for an International Voicey Award for Best Female Voice Talent for her work as a voice-over artist.  For a full list of her credits and to view reels visit: www.summercrockettmoore.com

TONY GLAZER

DIRECTOR/WRITER

Tony Glazer is an award-winning writer, director and producer, and a Managing Partner and founding member of Choice Films & Choice Theatricals. (www.choicefilms.com.) Glazer’s plays have been produced in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Canada and England. He just finished the festival circuit with his first feature film, Junction, (www.junctionthemovie.com) which he wrote and directed. Junction has won seventeen awards for excellence on the festival circuit. (Including best director, picture, screenplay and multiple actor awards) is currently having a U.S. theatrical release and has been nominated for a PRISM AWARD. 

 

Glazer's stage plays include Stain, and Safe (both published by Samuel French Inc), The Substance of Bliss (2009 Weissberger Award Winner), In The Daylight, Reading Under the Influence, What Friends Are For and American Stare (which just had its regional debut at the NJ Repertory Company and is in development to be produced as a feature film.) Tony received his BFA in Acting from Boston University and studied acting with Maggie Flanigan. His most recent directing credits include the television show Redrum, These Things We Hold and the indie film Trust Me, I’m a Lifeguard. (recently premiered at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival)

PAUL E. McCARTHY

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY

 

Paul E. McCarthy has had the great opportunity of being an innovative part of the film industry for the past 18 years. His creative presence coupled with deep technical knowledge of digital cinema and motion picture production have established him as a successful Director of Photography in New York City. 

Paul has complete understanding and vast experience involved with the motion picture process. As a Director of Photography he has developed and executed a multitude of creative projects for clients through post-production and delivery. 

Paul has toured the globe shooting promotional commercial campaigns for the AETN History network shows Pawn Stars, American Pickers, Ice Road Truckers, Axmen, and Madhouse. 
Most Recently he has created promotions for Lifetime's hit show Project Runway All-Stars Season 1 & 2 and the Project Runway Accessories series. Other commercial work includes projects for MAC cosmetics, 80%20, SAP, TBWA, Chiat Dey, Starburst, Keds, Playtex, Fisher Price, Verizon, and ESPN.

In April 2012 Paul premiered the independent film "Missed Connections". It was awarded the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature Film at Sarasota International Film Festival. This award was then followed up by winning the same award at Gen Art Film Festival in New York City in August of 2012 and again at the Savanah Film Festival in November.

Other awards include, IAC award for Best Fashion & Beauty Series for "The Playtex Bra Makeover Series", and ProMax Award for the "Axmen Season 2 Theatrical Trailer".

Paul's technical mastery leads to properly managing client expectations and bottom line. With his industry experience also comes a network of freelance professionals, and longtime vendor relationships. Kory Diskin is passionate about her multi-faceted career, describing her enthusiasm for working in the industry as, ’if it’s creative, count me in.’

 

Currently, filmmakers are counting her in as production designer. Recent film titles include the award-winning My Cross to Bear, Peter Bongiorno, Director/Glenn Allen, Executive Producer; A Cry From Within, Deborah Twiss, Zach Miller, Directors; Tammy, Ante Novakovic, Director; Trust Me I’m A Lifeguard, Tony Glazer, Director; The Man From The City, Elias Plagianos, Director; The Last Taxi Driver and Leaving, Debra Markowitz, Director.

 

Ms. Diskin is an appointed member of The Nassau County Film Advisory Board and an advisor to the Long Island Film/TV Foundation

 

CAITLIN CONCI

COSTUME DESIGNER

 

Caitlin Conci is a New York based costume designer with experience in dance, theatre, short and feature film. She is inspired by a juxtaposition of setting and one's presence within it.  Her aesthetic is subtle, but satirical and can be seen throughout her work. She received her BFA from FIT. 

 

LIFE KNYPER

HAIR & MAKE-UP DESIGNER

Originally from San Francisco, Life’s family was immersed in the arts. His mother, Margery Ann was a student of the Cunningham Studio in New York and a dancer with Twyla Tharp's original troupe. Life's father was an interior designer originally from Brooklyn, New York. In 1995, Life worked on a series of streetwear projects, including t-shirt lines for PigPen, and later used his royalties to start his own brand with several designers called Velocity, a conscious and iconic themed sportswear label based on 1990's youth inspired Japanese animation. Life was the creative director of the brand and a hands-on force from textile selects and design to themed show performance art installations across the US. Velocity became known for its total imaging and brand. Life learned to depend on the team environment from both his own business endeavors to his on-set experience working with photographers, art directors, clients and hairstylists. He enjoys and thrives on this process. Life assisted the likes of Paul Podlucky (hair color),Laura Mercier (make- up) as well as Luigi Murenu (hair) when he came to New York in 1996. Life's celebrity clients include, Isaac Mizrahi, Rose McGowan, Patricia Bosworth and others.

 

Life was scouted by Urban Decay and worked as an International Artist on their roster in assessment/training and development 2000 for events in US and Canada. He later worked with Lancome in training and retail. Life is a trained esthetician, having used SmoothBeam laser as well as Microderm, he believes his training in developed skincare is part of a total knowledge offering that he can now bring to beauty. Life is a motivational force and influences his subjects to seek education as well as an individualized route to achieve looking their best, whether models or real people in his chair. Life is available for haircuts, hair color, extensions, and make-up by special arrangement. www.lifeknyper.com

AUSTIN WINTORY

COMPOSER

 

Grammy-nominated and two-time BAFTA-winning composer Austin Wintory diverse career has straddled the worlds of concert music, film, and video games.

 

In 2012, Austin's soundtrack for the hit PlayStation3 game Journey became the first-ever Grammy-nominated videogame score, also winning two British Academy Awards, a DICE Award, a Spike TV VGA, and IGN’s “Overall Music of the Year,” along with five Game Audio Network Guild awards, and a host of others. Excerpts from the score have been performed all over the world since its release, including by such as ensembles as the National Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, Colorado Symphony and Pacific Symphony.

 

Austin’s score for the earlier game flOw made him the youngest composer ever to receive a British Academy Award nomination and also won him a wide variety of other game industry accolades, including the Game Audio Network Guild’s “Rookie of the Year.” An orchestral version of this music has been performed at the Smithsonian Museum as a part of their “Art of Games” exhibit; flOw is currently on display at MoMA in New York City.
